5 weeks of craft based fun with Cornwall Creative Arts.
Running every Saturday from 10-12 pm at Par Bay Community Garden from 30th July - 27th August, come and join us for a range of creative activities.
Block book the whole lot or choose a specific week or activitiy you want to take part in, dates below:
30th July - Junk Puppets - Make mini movable characters out of junk.
6th August - Seed bombs and plastic planters - Turn plastic bottles into unique and funky plant pots and make a batch of paper seed bombs to plant wherever you choose.
13th August - Tie dye - Learn dying techniques, how to create patterns and colour layering. We will supply a canvas bag to tye dye, but you are welcome to bring whatever you want, light colours only.
20th August - Kite making - Turn a plastic bag into a fantastic kite, then have fun flying and racing them over at Par Track.
27th - Bug hotels - Make mini homes for bugs and beetles out of tin cans and plastic bottles.
Many of our crafts will follow our creative recycling ethos and will be focused on reusing and recycling a range of materials throughout the workshops, you will also be shown easy ways that you will be able to replicate many of the activities at home using cheap or easy to find equipment or materials.
All materials will be included, but you will be welcome to bring along as much as you like on the tie tye day. Participants will be able to bring home everything they make.
Suitable for all ages, although young children under the age of 7 will require adult supervision (supervising adults can attend at no extra cost and are free to get stuck in with any of the activities alongside the children and young people)
